HEY FRIENDSS!!! My name is Lindsey!

I’m an Atlanta based lifestyle photographer, event planner, and the creator of the mobile wagon. I am a wife, a mother of two of the sweetest boys you will ever meet, and a dog mom.  I am a professional frolicker, a very unprofessional country singer and an obsessed coffee drinker, with cream of course. Born in Florida with my heart at Disney and my soul in the water.  I snowboarded my way through high school in Colorado and graduated college at the one and only, Florida State with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology!

Growing up, I wanted to work in the Criminal Justice field. Specifically, a forensic photographer.  Later in life,  after college, my vision changed.  I loved kids and knew I wanted to open up a daycare. I got wrapped up in this crazy world called LIFE. You know, stuck in the same routine, day in and day out but I was comfortable. Been there?  I felt stuck at a dead end Corporate job. Needless to say, I was MISERABLE!  I cried most days from missing my son, I had mom guilt all the time, I missed his first step and his first word, which of course was ‘mama’. When I was pregnant with my second son, I knew something had to change. NO WAY I was going back to work and leaving my two sons to watch the clock every minute of every day.

I was scrolling on youtube, during my maternity leave with my second son and came across a Steve Harvey’s video. It was a big wave of emotion that just hit me out of nowhere! He was talking to his audience, during a Family Feud commercial break, about jumping! Have you seen it? What are you waiting for… GO RIGHT NOW and watch it!!!  I knew right then, I had to jump! I had a passion and a gift I was just too scared of the jump.  I knew right then, this was God telling me, go, go and soar, or you will never know!

Before you leave this world, just jump one time!

When I started my business, I knew I wanted to help other families, other moms tell their story. When my husband and I started a family, I was blown away with how much professional pictures were, and yes, now I know why! But, when my oldest son was born, I wanted to capture all the little moments, milestones- his journey, but financially, was not able to. When my second son was born, I was determined to capture more of his journey. I took photography classes in high school and my favorite was capturing weddings but, technology back then was just not my type. I bought a new camera, YES, I still had my high school camera, and I couldn’t put it down. I want to help tell your story and not have to spend a fortune, or even break your wallet!

I specialize in authentic lifestyle photos, real connection and unposed moments. I want to see the unconfined movement, the unfiltered interactions, the unscripted moments and the uninhibited laughter.  I would love the chance to tell your story, your true, one of a kind story, love, tantrums, chaotic hot mess express and everything in between.

Life is like a camera- You focus on what’s important capture the good time develop from the negative and if things don’t work out take another shot

My style is a hint of mood; photos that are raw, candid, and tell a story. That’s why I’m in this, to tell your story.

You Don’t Take a Photograph, You Make It.

Because every picture should tell a story

You might be wondering where Haylan came from?! Am I right?  Here is the short version- It all started when my second son was born. My sons pushed me to pick the camera up, again, and start capturing their journey, their stories! So, I wanted nothing less than my logo to represent MY story. Haylan= my sons names combined. My favorite quote will always be: ‘Sons are the anchors of a mother’s life.’
