2nd Zoo Birthday Party

Animals, It seems to be the theme of 2021 and we are here for it! We had the pleasure planning Ojas 2nd birthday. His birthday was at his home where we had balloon columns at the entry of the driveway. As you walked down the driveway, there was a directional sign to point to each activity that was offered. Watch out there were  animal sightings on the pathway down to the back yard! The birds flew above in the trees. 

Once in the backyard, there was a DJ, petting zoo, pony rides, paint an animal cookie, a swimming pool that was used as the watering hole- watch out for those crazy alligators, they sprayed water. We also had yard games- connect four, ladder ball, and corn horn. There were balloon trees filled with monkeys and moss.

Centerpieces were real greenery with sand in the vases. Animals and moss were scattered around on a burlap runner and palm charger was set for each guests plate. 

Watch out for snakes that were out sun bathing on top of the railings. They almost got tangled up in all the ivey and moss.

Guests enjoyed themed cocktails, which included ojas adventure punch and a zookeeper, Moscow mule. Guests filled their bellies with a delicious catering buffet that included: build your own mac and cheese bar, scones, brownies and much more! Green silverware were wrapped with an animal print ribbon and a wooden flat zoo animal was glued onto the ribbon for an extra detail. 

Each kid got to take home a DIY build a bear, elephant or panda in their very own drawstring bag to end the day.
