In TWO the Jungle

In ‘Two’ the Jungle

June 2021

Lions, giraffes and monkeys, oh my!

We had so much fun bringing Yasmeen and Asmin’s jungle dream to life. The family was celebrating Rayann’s 2nd birthday, and the arrival of his new baby sister, Layla. This exciting event took place at Brick & Ivey located in Marietta, GA and the couple’s family came (from all over the world) to gather and celebrate this big day!

As soon as guests entered the venue, green uplights surrounded the room and a large grass wall immediately caught everyone’s eye. They were greeted with multiple stuffed zoo animals, plants that mimicked the jungle floor, big gold and white balloons, and a safari car cut out - with Rayann and Layla’s name on the license plate. The bright colors were a stunning compliment to Brick and Ivey’s aesthetic! At one table, kids were able to customize their own safari hats with stickers, feathers, and cotton balls. Outside, a neon “Rayla’s Jungle” sign glowed along another grass wall. The tables were covered with a light gold tablecloth, golden leaves, green ferns, and mini zoo animals as centerpieces. The highboys had smaller planters and binoculars. There was also a party favor table, with an almost life-size safari car cutout, that included colorful bubble wands for guests to take!

What’s to drink? Jungle Juice, of course! The drinks bar was fully stocked with green colored juice. The cups were custom made to match their theme. They had mini animals on the cup and were paired with leopard & zebra print straws. Our team also provided a mobile wagon that served masala chai ice cream, a delicious drink that originated in India! First, guests choose between hot or iced chai tea which is then served on top of vanilla ice cream. Then, they made their way to the toppings table where they could add a variety of goodies such as dried florals, homemade almond cookies, biscotti, and coconut rollers. The detailing of the three-tiered cake was almost too pretty to eat. It was covered with green leaves, several animals, a safari car, and gold foil. Homemade animal print rice krispies, cake pops, shooters, cheesecake, and other sweets surrounded the cake. Yasmeen and Asmin also had a wide range of snacks for guests to enjoy. The most popular table was the “build your own trail mix” station. Friends and family could choose from pretzels, marshmallows, and more!

Near the end of the event, guests of all ages could join on the dance floor where a drummer and dancer showed off their dance moves. Everyone had a wild time, and we’re so glad we got to be a part of it!
