Bumble Bee Baby Shower Brunch

We had the pleasure putting together an intimate baby shower brunch in Roswell, GA.

When Whitney reached out she wanted a “small, tasteful and creamy colored brunch celebration” for her sister’s baby due in July. Her daughter’s wanted to be a part of the decorations and florals. We made beehive centerpieces that had yellow, whites and green florals in it. She wanted to have indivudal boxes for guests. Those bumble bee boxes included a beautiful summer honey bee vibe: Honey Whipped Ricotta Prosciutto Bites, Mixed Fruit with Honey Citrus Dressing, Honey Butter Biscuits (with warm honey drizzle and flaked sea salt), Honeycomb Waffle-cuterie Board, Vanilla Honey Pots de Crème, Blueberry Scones with a Honey Lemon Glaze With a side of honey.

When guests arrived to the country club, their eyes went to bumble bee balloon columns, catering table and the guests tables had a simple honeybee hive filled with florals. There was a lounge area, tv section and a patio that overlooked the beautiful golf course. Whitney wanted this to be a time where their family could catch up (due to covid they hadn’t seen their families for quite sometime. It was the perfect location to sit back and relax with family and their closest friends.

For games they had simple ones that consisted of guess how many honeycombs and leave advice for the parents to bee.

Guests brought books for the baby instead of gifts- most guest wrote a little sentimental note in each book. This is always a cute idea instead of a card. Each guest received a bumble bee baby onesie cookie on their way out.
