The Most ONE-derful Time of the Year

Lynden’s ONE-derful Birthday

Celebrating Lynden’s first birthday was the most magical and ONEderful time of the year! In the backyard, we created an intimate picnic area and transformed it into a winter wonderland. The area was surrounded by soft pink and white accents, snowflake pillows, christmas trees, balloons, and neutral colored rugs for guests to comfortably sit on. Running down the center of the table were glistening Christmas trees that ranged from a variety of textures: feathered trees, glittery trees, furry ones, and more! They were also in the prettiest shades of whites, golds, silvers, and pinks. To give the appearance of fresh snow beneath the trees, we included a white faux fur runner and crushed velvet white tablecloths and napkins. In the center, a beautiful arrangement of fresh cream and blush pink roses bloomed out of their vase. The chargers were a shimmering silver that added a touch of magic, and the flatware was rose gold to add a soft hint of color. Beside each plate had an individually wrapped gingerbread man for guests to decorate later in the evening. Around the table, there were a bunch of fun activities for the kids! There was a large white bounce house, a slide, and a white “snowball” ball pit. 

After a long day of play and filling up on sandwiches, no winter day is complete without hot chocolate! Our hot cocoa bar included the topping necessities like peppermint, chocolate, and marshmallows to create the perfect cup!

At the end of the event, family and friends gathered to hand-write messages for Lynden to open when she turns her sweet 16. The family shared that Lynden almost arrived on Christmas day and they continue to call her their little Christmas miracle. 

 It truly is the most one-derful time of the year!
